Sometimes things just fall into place.

As a teen, I had passion for photography and set up a darkroom in my basement. I thought I would follow that passion into adulthood and make my living that way. Well, life happened and many years later I found myself taking photos on a trip to Alaska with my husband. Seeing the incredible wildlife there rekindled my passion for both photography and wildlife. The glue that would bind those two passions of mine was a kayak. It was the perfect vehicle for destinations on the water where the wild creatures lived.

Based in Brookline, Vermont, most of my photographs are taken within a 1-hour drive of our cabin in the woods.  Some of my favorite creature viewing spots are on land, but most of what I photograph can be found on the Connecticut River in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. The Connecticut River is home to many bald eagle nests and that is where I spend most of my time in the summer. I love photographing all creatures, but bald eagles have a special place in my heart.

On this site you will find lots of local wildlife photos from southern Vermont, New Hampshire, & Massachusetts, and photos from our travels to Alaska, Yellowstone National Park, and The Grand Tetons. I try to get away for smaller trips every year as well, to see new creatures and explore new places.

From this site you can access local bald eagle info, view my favorite photographs, and find out where I am currently exhibiting.

The photos on this site can be purchased as keepsakes, prints or gifts. Just click on the photo you like and the “buy” button will take you to the store. Immersing myself in nature feeds my soul. I feel a deep connection between myself and the subjects I photograph. Through my photography, I hope to convey that feeling and encourage everyone to explore their local surroundings.
